To reach Nusa Penida, you’ll need to take a ferry or speedboat from Sanur Beach in Bali. The boat ride takes around 30 to 45 minutes. Make sure to book your tickets in advance during peak seasons to avoid any inconvenience.

Kelingking Beach
Definitely the highlight of our Nusa Penida trip! It’s like your trip is not complete without visiting Kelingking Beach. This iconic cliff overlooks a pristine beach with turquoise waters, forming a T-Rex-like shape. It offers a breathtaking view from the top but be prepared for a challenging hike down to the beach.
In our case, since we didn’t have much time, unfortunately, we did not stay for long and the queue for picture taking was pretty long. I didn’t really get to enjoy the beach and the view that much!
Angel’s Billabong and Broken Beach
This is a natural infinity pool formed by rock cliffs and a collapsed cave; Angel’s Billabong is a picturesque spot for a refreshing dip. Nearby, Broken Beach showcases a stunning natural archway over crystal-clear waters.
Crystal Bay
This is one of the island’s most famous beaches. Crystal Bay offers excellent snorkeling opportunities and a relaxing atmosphere for sunbathing.
Atuh Beach
Accessible via a steep staircase, Atuh Beach boasts powdery white sand and towering cliffs, creating an idyllic setting for relaxation.
Peguyangan Waterfall
Although it’s not a traditional waterfall, the unique blue stairs leading to the sea offer an exhilarating experience with spectacular ocean views.
Tree House
This is one of the most popular places to visit in Nusa Penida. This famous Tree House offers an amazing view of the landscapes and the ocean. One of the most Instagram-worthy spots in Nusa Penida, Bali. You can get past this tree house when going to the Thousand Islands Viewpoint.
Thousand Islands Viewpoint
Thousand Island Viewpoint offers a breathtaking panorama of rock formations and small islands surrounding Nusa Penida Island. This viewpoint is especially magical during sunrise and sunset.
