My Mayon ATV Adventure Experience

I still remember when our HEKASI teacher talked about historical places in the Philippines that were featured in our textbooks. Mayon Volcano, known for its perfect cone shape, is one of the things that we learn from our Hekasi subject in grade school. Learning about it made me wish to travel and see every historic place featured in our history books. Through that, I have always dreamed about visiting the sites I first learned about and discovered through reading our HEKASI book, which includes the beautiful Mayon Volcano.

And that one dream of an elementary student finally came true. I have finally seen the beauty of the Mayon Volcano. That being said, it truly gives me a sense of fulfillment to have finally set foot where the Mayon Volcano is, knowing that I could only see it and read about it from our HEKASI book.

That book seeing it for real mesmerizes me with how it has always been majestic and beautiful. In fact, it is even more beautiful up close! A beautiful monster, as other people would say it. “Magayon,” as the locals from the Bicol region would describe it. It is truly a dream come true to see it up close!
Thank you, Mayon Volcano. Thank you for showing up during our entire trip to Bicol Region. Dios Mabalos!
