About Hospital Playlist
This drama depicts the life of the five doctors at work and their lives outside work. They have been friends for over 20 years who started their undergrad in the year 1999; where they studied in the same medical school. At the present time, they are now colleagues in the same hospital. This drama is also about the five doctors who form a band played by Lee Ik Jun (Cho Jung-Seok), Ahn Jeong Won (Yoo Yeon Seok), Kim Jun-Wan (Jung Kyoung-Ho), Yang Seok-Hyeong (Kim Dae-Myung), and Chae Song-Hwa (Jeon Mi-do). This medical drama consists of 12 episodes.
Hospital Playlist is one of my favorite Korean dramas that I am currently watching. Another Korean medical drama that you must watch. To be honest, I have just finished watching Doctor Romantic (one of the best!) and fell in love with Yoo Yeon Seok’s acting. There, I discovered the Hospital Playlist in which he is one of the casts.
It seems that I have made the right choice. The first episode was already interesting. Perhaps I have already gotten hooked by the drama. Written down below are the reasons why Hospital Playlist is a must-watch Korean drama this year 2020!
Captivating Reasons to watch Hospital Playlist!
The drama has Reply series vibes.
If you have recently watched Reply series, then you might probably want to watch another drama that has the same feels as Reply series! Perhaps Hospital Playlist fits in your list. As a matter of fact, Director Shin Won-Ho and screenwriter Lee Woo-Jung are the ones behind Hospital Playlist production. They previously worked together on tvN drama series “Reply 1997,” “Reply 1994,” and “Reply 1988.”
It has promising casts.
As mentioned above, the drama is mainly played by Cho Jung-Seok, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jung Kyoung-Ho, Kim Dae Myung, and Jo Mido. In addition, you could see other casts from the Reply series and Prison Playbook (which also directed by Director Shin Won Ho). All actors from this drama are undeniably superb in acting. They act so naturally and would make you even fall in love more with the drama! Moreover, this drama is composed of award-wining best actors and actresses.
It has such an amazing and unpredictable plot line.
Hospital Playlist is such a heartwarming drama. It doesn’t only focus on medical operations and scenes happening in the hospital. But it centers more on life outside work (hospital), friendship, and love. In addition, there are a lot of unexpected events and heartwarming moments in this drama that you shouldn’t miss out on watching. The drama is very interesting and exciting at the same time. This series has definitely a unique concept.
Its OSTs are incredibly awesome.
You will surely fall in love more with this drama after hearing its OSTs. Its songs are totally uplifting that could make your heart skip a beat!
Hospital Playlist is not the typical medical drama. The storyline is simple yet truly captivating. You may not find a lot of medical scenes in the drama, but there is something about this drama that will truly catch your attention! Its simplicity and reality that the drama approaches is just so amazing to watch.
